Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how GEEZ TECH LLC, the company that operates the SeatCompress service (collectively “SeatCompress”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our web application at seatcompress.com and related services (the “Service”). GEEZ TECH LLC is a Michigan limited liability company.

By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up we collect your email address and a password. The password is hashed by our auth provider (Supabase) and is never visible to us in plaintext.

SaaS stack data you provide

You enter details about your company and its SaaS tools — company name, vendor list, seat counts, per-seat costs, and optional contract renewal dates. You also create scenarios and select AI agents for modeling. This is the primary data the Service processes on your behalf.

Billing information

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID, subscription tier, trial/period end date, and payment status. We do notstore credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account details — those are held directly by Stripe under their own security controls.

Usage analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, device type). Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not track you across other sites.

Contact submissions

If you fill out the contact form on our landing page, your name, email, and message are routed through Formspree to our support inbox at help@seatcompress.com.

Cookies and similar technologies

We set essential authentication cookies so you stay signed in between page loads. We don’t use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics cookies.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To run the savings calculations and analyses you request.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing notices) and, if enabled, product alerts such as contract renewal reminders. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
  • To respond to support requests and other communications.
  • To monitor and secure the Service, including preventing fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Sub-processors we share data with

We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the Service. Each only receives the minimum data needed for their role:

  • Supabase— database hosting and authentication. Stores user accounts and all SaaS stack data.
  • Vercel— application hosting and cookieless web analytics.
  • Stripe— payment processing and subscription management.
  • Formspree— receives contact form submissions.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We don’t share your SaaS stack data with other customers or use it to train machine-learning models.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and stack data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel or delete your account, we remove your personal information and SaaS stack data within 30 days, with two exceptions:

  • Billing records retained as required by US tax law (typically up to 7 years).
  • Backups may retain residual copies for a limited time until they are naturally overwritten.

5. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, encrypt data at rest through our hosting providers, enforce row-level security at the database layer, and limit internal access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever learn of a data incident affecting you, we’ll notify you without undue delay.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access— ask us what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction— update inaccurate data (most fields are editable directly in the dashboard).
  • Deletion— ask us to delete your account and associated data.
  • Portability— request a copy of your SaaS stack data (also available via in-app CSV export).
  • Objection— opt out of non-essential processing, such as product alert emails.
  • California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
  • EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at help@seatcompress.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

7. International transfers

Our infrastructure is located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the US. Our sub-processors are bound by their own cross-border transfer safeguards (including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable).

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is a B2B tool intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify active customers by email or in-app banner.
